BARAD KENNELS

Tibetan Spaniels

Italian Greyhounds

As much as we would love to keep all our dogs we can't. Its hard to see them leave but naive to think we are the only home that can provide the love they need. This point is illustrated very clearly by the wonderful homes that both Esta and her Dad Dobbie have.

Both dont live far away and are regular visitors. Esta now shares her love and walks with Jessie, the Cavie.Dobbie lives with Boulter the Westie.

We see both Esta and Dobbie frequently and whenever they come over for the day or for a week or two its like they never left.

Barad Estella "Esta" - DOB  13/05/08

Sire: Tuscamada Strutn My Stuf [Red, Fawn & White]

Dam: Wondoan Wrhadika [Blue]

Esta is from our first litter of iggies. Esta was part of our shown team until she turned 9 months of age.

She is a delightful girl with a gentle happy to please nature.

Esta and Sancia did really well in the show ring but Esta has now retired to be a most spoilt house dog, leaving her Mum and Sister to do all the showing.

 Tuscamada Strutn My Stuf  "Dobbie"

Sire: Maybri Red Baron [Red & Black]

Dam: Tuscamada Ellies Memory [Fawn & White]

Dobbie came to us from the South Australia in 2007 and immediately we came to understand just how loving male italian greyhounds are.

He is the father of our first litter born 13 May 2008. Dobbie has won BOB at a small number of shows but he didn't enjoy being showed.

Dobbie has a gorgeous rock solid nature and given how stunning we think his pups were we hope one day to use him again in our breeding program.

Dobbie now lives with Portia and Isobel in West Hobart where he is absolutely loved.

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.
